Before he became the Series Director of the World of Outlaws Late Models at the end of the 2022 season, Steve Francis tore up the racetrack as one of the greatest drivers in dirt Late Model racing.

The 2007 World of Outlaws Late Models champion achieved significant accolades since his first dirt Late Model Feature in 1984, winning over 200 races and scoring crown jewel heights in the World 100 and Dirt Track World Championship in 1999, and the Late Model Knoxville Nationals in 2012.

The Ashland, KY native continues to serve as an influential figure in the world of dirt racing as the sport navigates the changing landscape of Late Model innovation and competition.
