Alex Bergeron Scores Second Straight iRacing World of Outlaws Sprint Car Title

Unknown

Alex Bergeron wrapped up his second consecutive iRacing World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car World Championship earlier this month, holding onto the points lead through an intense season finale from The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With a sixth place finish in the final event, won by Dylan Houser, Bergeron managed to hang onto a double-digit championship advantage over top returning title rivals and quick rookies alike.

35 of the world’s best competitors battled all spring for top honors in the series, but the Team ABR driver managed to outlast them all in the end. The Quebec native won three of his 10 starts in 2020, advancing to the feature in every event and finishing in the top 10 in all but one race. Behind him, three drivers, including Houser, Dillon Semmelmann, and Braden Eyler, scored their first series victories. Swindell SpeedLab Esports driver James Edens led the series with four race wins.
