Bio

The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models' most accomplished driver, Brandon Sheppard, has returned to the Series in 2023 in search of a record-breaking fifth championship.

This season, however, the New Berlin, Illinois native will be sporting a new look. For the first time on tour, Sheppard will not be driving for Rocket1 Racing, the team with which he won his four titles. Instead, he will be piloting the #B5 for Sheppard-Riggs Racing, a joint venture between himself and Scott Riggs. He has also made a significant change in his chassis, moving from a Rocket to a Longhorn Chassis.

Sheppard's World of Outlaws CASE Late Models career began with Rocket1 Racing, where he secured his first win in 2012 at Belle-Clair Speedway. In 2017, he took over driving duties for Mark Richards full-time, which led to his first of four titles and 18 victories, a feat he would match during his 2019 championship run. Sheppard went on to grab two more titles in 2020 and 2021, cementing his position as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the series.

The 2022 season was a memorable one for the Illinois native, as he became the all-time wins leader at Jacksonville Speedway, surpassing fellow four-time champion Josh Richards. He also had two more wins that season, including a dominant performance at the Prairie Dirt Classic, and his 81st career win at 81 Speedway.

Throughout his career, Sheppard has never finished worse than second in a full-time season with the Series, and he aims to keep that streak alive to become the first driver to win five championships. With his vast experience and proven track record, Sheppard is sure to be a top contender for the championship once again in 2023.
