World of Outlaws History: While Sheldon Haudenschild wasn’t able to match his 2018 win total in 2019, he still won big.

He passed Donny Schatz for the win at Cedar Lake Speedway and then put on one of the most incredible performances in the Series’ history by winning the Ironman 55 in dominating fashion. He had a more than 10 second lead over second-place and lead 45 of the 55 laps.

Haudenschild entered the 2018 season as the 2017 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award Winner. That honor was good enough for Stenhouse Jr.-Marshall Racing to hire the young Wooster, OH native for the 2018 season. The pair collected five wins in their first year together.

Haudenschild joined the Outlaws for his first season in 2017, piloting the No. 93 car in the series’ 40th running. As a second generation Outlaw, Haudenschild seeked to build his own name on one of the most prestigious national tours in dirt racing. The second-generation driver is the son of Jac Haudenschild, who ranks 13th all-time in series victories. Haudenschild first made his series debut in 2009 at Eldora Speedway with his father.

Previous Racing History: Haudenschild competed full-time with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions the past two seasons, finishing in the top-ten both years. At 16, he competed in 34 races between the 360 and 410 sprint classes – one of those starts being his first World of Outlaws race. Before switching to four-wheels, Haudenschild raced amateur motocross and supercross. He won more than 70 main events between 1996 and 2009.
