Ask any avid race fan who appears on their Mt. Rushmore of Dirt Late Model drivers, they’re going to tell you Scott Bloomquist is on it. Guaranteed.
With 35+ years of experience behind the wheel, there is no bigger name in Dirt Late Model racing than Bloomquist. 600+ career Feature victories, 9 national championships, 8 Dirt Late Model Dream wins, 4 World 100 titles and countless other Crown Jewel event victories… there’s almost nothing he hasn’t accomplished.
In addition to his long list of accolades, Bloomquist also founded and currently operates Team Zero Race Cars (formerly known as Sweet-Bloomquist Race Cars), designing and fabricating performance Late Model chassis for his team and other customers.
Bloomquist is a member of the original Dirty Dozen World of Outlaws Late Model drivers that formed in the tour’s revival year of 2004. Winning nine Features that year, Bloomquist was crowned Series champion – his first and only Outlaws crown to date.
In the years that followed, Bloomquist ventured further out into the Dirt Late Model world, racing at select events around the country and touring nationally from 2009-present.
In 2019, Scott Bloomquist Racing forged a powerful partnership with industry promoter Cody Sommer and set their sights on accomplishing even more in the sport of Dirt Late Model Racing. The team had been away from the full-time World of Outlaws roster since that first championship season, and in 2020, finally made their return home.
Landing a blockbuster sponsorship with Drydene Performance Products for he and teammate Chris Madden for the 2020 season, Bloomquist hits the road for the first time in 15 years as a member of the full-time roster, chasing his second World of Outlaws championship.
