World of Outlaws Hits the Track at Salina Highbanks Speedway on May 5

SALINA, OK — April 26, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series makes its annual appearance at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, OK, on Saturday, May 5 for the running of the Twister Showdown. The event will mark the seventh time the series has raced at the ultra-high-banked three-eighths-mile.

Kerry Madsen was victorious last year at Salina over Donny Schatz and Brad Sweet. Madsen took the lead from Sweet on Lap 23 and held off several charges from Sweet, Schatz and Shane Stewart in the late going to pick up the win. For Madsen, it was his first win at Salina.

World of Outlaws Invade Lake Ozark Speedway on May 4 after an 11-Year Absense

ELDON, MO — April 25, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series’ return to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO, is just around the corner on Friday, May 4. The event will mark the first visit for the series to the third-mile since 2007 and just the third-ever race for the Outlaws at the venue.

Leading the way will be nine-time and defending Series Champion Donny Schatz, who is the current series point leader on the strength of four wins thus far in 2018. The North Dakota native has taken part in both of the previous World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series races at Lake Ozark Speedway. Schatz finished sixth in his most recent start at the track in 2007.
