Shark Racing’s Schuchart Finishes Sixth in A-Main; Allen Wins the B

ELMA, Wash., Sept. 2 — Shark Racing’s Logan Schuchart finished sixth in the A-main and his teammate Jacob Allen won the B-main in their first appearances at Grays Harbor Raceway ever Monday night in World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series action.

Schuchart started fourth in the 30-lap, 24-car A-main and ran as high as third, as he passed Cody Darrah for that position about the same time as eventual winner Donny Schatz was taking the lead from Steve Kinser. Darrah passed Schuchart back on the following lap, however. Daryn Pittman also got around him working lap 17 to push him to fifth, and both Shane Stewart and Kerry Madsen got by shortly thereafter.

Inside Line Promotions – KOKOMO, Ind. – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will return to Kokomo Speedway on Tuesday, Sept. 16, for a marquee event presented by High Performance Lubricants.

“Kokomo is awesome,” defending series champion Daryn Pittman said. “It’s always a great race. The line changes a lot throughout the race. You have to keep up with track conditions a lot as the groove changes several times. It’s one of the better races of the year.”

Inside Line Promotions – SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – Sprint car fans in Minnesota have one final chance to watch Steve Kinser race in The North Star State.

Kinser, who is in his final season of chasing the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series championship, will tackle Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 13, for the Asgrow/DeKalb Clash at the Creek.

Inside Line Promotions – SPENCER, Iowa – Daryn Pittman will lead the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series into Clay County Fair Speedway on Friday, Sept. 12.

Pittman capitalized on a top-five finish during last season’s event – The Arnold Motor Supply Shootout with associate sponsors Bob’s Bike Shop, H&N Chevrolet, Vanderhaag’s and Justice Brothers – to garner his first career series championship.
