Kraig Kinser Scores Season Best Fourth-Place Finish at Tri-State Speedway

Granger, IA—May 1, 2011—Patience is said to be a virtue. Kraig Kinser and the rest of the World of Outlaws certainly exhibited plenty of it over the last month, as Mother Nature interrupted three consecutive events. That patience paid off for the third generation driver on Saturday night, as he scored a season-best fourth-place finish at the historic Tri-State Speedway in his home state of Indiana, a track that Kinser cut his teeth on early in his career. The race was the first for the World of Outlaws since an April 2 contest at Calistoga Speedway in California, a span of 28 days.

HAUBSTADT, Ind. – April 30, 2011 – Sammy Swindell raced past Joey Saldana on Lap 18 on Saturday night at Tri-State Speedway and held off Paul McMahan to win his third World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series feature event of the season. Saldana wound up third and extended his lead in the championship standings to 15 points over 20-time champion Steve Kinser. Kraig Kinser was fourth with Craig Dollansky rounding out the Top Five. Granger, IA—April 27, 2011—Early in his career Kraig Kinser had the chance to race at numerous tracks in his home state of Indiana. Elite Racing Tackles Haubstadt and Salina

Mother Nature has definitely not been the World of Outlaws’ best friend this spring. As the Elite Racing team loaded up and traveled towards Oklahoma, they had to dodge storms in the St. Louis area before getting the news that the racing weekend had been washed out.
