MECHANICSBURG, PA — Aug. 17, 2018 — Mother Nature has uninvitedly joined up again with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series for the second event of a four-day stretch of races throughout the eastern United States. Afternoon thunderstorms settled over Williams Grove Speedway, and Friday night’s event has been cancelled. A suitable makeup date could not be found, so the event will not be rescheduled. The Series does, however, have plans to return to the facility in 2019.

Madden Cashes In on Fulton Bank 40
In the Series’ second-ever visit to the track, Madden leads flag-to-flag and increases his points lead over Marlar and Sheppard
GEORGETOWN, DE – August 16, 2018 – The first of a four-race weekend started out just as planned for Series points leader Chris “Smoky” Madden, as he picked up his seventh victory of the season Thursday night at the Georgetown Speedway. In short, Madden was strong throughout the event. Winning his heat race and re-drawing the outside pole, he took the lead on lap one of the feature and never looked back, leading every lap of the Fulton Bank 40 on his way to another $10,000 payday.

GEORGETOWN, DE – August 16, 2018 – Chris Madden went wire-to-wire over 40 laps to pick up his seventh win of the season and slightly increased his points lead over Mike Marlar and Brandon Sheppard. After winning his heat race and re-drawing the outside pole, Madden took the lead on lap one and never looked back. Rick Eckert posted his best finish of the season in second, after winning his heat race. Brandon Sheppard followed suit in his heat race, re-drew third and completed the podium after 40 laps.
