CONCORD, NC – November 3, 2018 – What once started earlier this year, all the way back in February at the Volusia Speedway Park for the DIRTcar Nationals is now complete. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series wrapped up its 30th Anniversary tour on Saturday night at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am, where Scott Bloomquist won his first since Florida in February and fellow-Tennessee native Mike Marlar officially clinched his very first World of Outlaws championship points title.

“The Rocket Shepp” gets his 13th win of the year, but will it be lucky enough to catch Marlar for the title?

CONCORD, NC – November 3, 2018 – The Friday portion of the 2018 World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am Off Road at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway was finally completed on Saturday afternoon, after it was rescheduled from Friday night due to the city of Charlotte’s curfew.

Brandon Sheppard collected his 13th win of the season and inched closer to a repeat championship, still to be decided in the Saturday portion. 2006 Series Champion Tim McCreadie gave “The Rocket Shepp” a good run through 50 laps, swapping the lead back and forth several times, but was unable to catch and pass Sheppard in the end.

CONCORD, NC – November 1, 2018 – Night one of the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am Off Road from The Dirt Track at Charlotte got off to a great start on Thursday afternoon, with Super DIRTcar Series qualifying sessions rolling onto the track promptly at 3:45. Things didn’t end very well for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models, though, as their final qualifying session of the evening was halted by Mother Nature.

ROSSBURG, OH — Oct. 13, 2018 — After two Prelim Nights, spread over a 37-day period, the 48th annual World 100 concluded with the main event of the 2018 racing season in the Dirt Super Late Model World. The famed ½ (0.500) mile high-banked dirt oval of Eldora Speedway (OH), located just east of the Indiana/Ohio state line in Rossburg, Ohio served as hosts of the “Granddaddy of them all” on Saturday, October 13. After the 78 teams, who returned from the September rain out and had to wait an extra day, again due to Mother Nature, the result was a “Doubleheader Saturday” at the western Ohio speed plant that saw the teams race in the morning/afternoon and again in the evening.

ROSSBURG, OH — Oct. 13, 2018 — The 48th annual World 100 was set to resume after a delay of five weeks and two days with the second of two Prelim Nights at the famed ½ (0.500) mile high-banked dirt oval of Eldora Speedway (OH), located just east of the Indiana/Ohio state line in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday, October 13. Originally scheduled for September 7, then October 12, Mother Nature was nowhere in sight for “Doubleheader Saturday” as the second of three full nights of racing for the “Granddaddy of them all” featuring the popular “Every Lap Matters” format was highlighted by twin 25-lap features paying $10,000 to win each.
