Schuchart Wins at Ohsweken

Logan Schuchart Takes a Bite Out of Donny Schatz for Win at Ohsweken

Schuchart Earns First Career Victory in Canada

OHSWEKEN, ON, CAN – July 25, 2017 – Logan Schuchart hunted down Donny Schatz in heavy lapped traffic and then dominated the second half of the Six Nations Showdown at Ohsweken Speedway for his fourth World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series win of 2017 on Tuesday night.

The victory was a much-needed confidence boost for Schuchart and his Shark Racing team who had struggled of late. The slick Ohsweken surface was exactly to the liking of the Hanover, Pa. native in the Outlaws only visit to Canada this season.

“I love these type of racetracks, not just because we ran well on it tonight. I love slick racetracks,” Schuchart said in Victory Lane. “I love when you have to drive the car straight and smooth. I feel like it makes it fun. Obviously if you’re not running good it’s not fun, but if you can glide around the racetrack, be smooth and have forward drive, it’s fun.”

Schuchart wins third Outlaws race of 2017

CONCORD, N.C. — May 26, 2017 — After starting in the third position for the Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 30-lap Feature event, Logan Schuchart had a scare just before the half-way mark of the race. Still managing to continue on, Schuchart would get another opportunity as the field came to the white flag, Schuchart would slip by Sweet for the lead. #LetsRaceTwo, but Let’s Win One First

Logan Schuchart scores his first-ever Eldora Speedway win

ROSSBURG, OH — May 12, 2017 — Logan Schuchart scored his first-ever Eldora Speedway win Friday night during the #LetsRaceTwo opener, battling Eldora veteran Shane Stewart for the lead from laps eight through 12, after which Schuchart retained it for the remaining 18 laps to secure his fourth career World of Outlaws win and second win this season.

“It’s the place you always want to win at,” said the Shark Racing 1s driver about Eldora after his win. “As a little kid I dreamt about being a World of Outlaws driver. Eldora, with all the history behind it, it’s really cool. My grandfather won the first Outlaw race here in ’78, so being able to win this race with him by my side is really cool. I hope it means something for July. My grandfather won the Knoxville Nationals. He won the Williams Grove National Open. But nobody won the Kings Royal, so that’s a race I really want to run well in, and this is where you get your notes and stuff. To win tonight, hopefully that means something for the next couple races in the next couple months.”
