Up to Speed: World of Outlaws at Lake Ozark Speedway

 

ELDON, Mo. — April 30, 2018 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., on Friday, May 4 for the first time since 2007. A handful of drivers competing full-time with the series this year competed in that event over a decade ago. In the previous two races for the Outlaws at the third-mile, two different winners visited victory lane. Thus far in 2018, six drivers have picked up win, with Donny Schatz and Sheldon Haudenschild leading the way. This edition of Up to Speed sets the stage for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series visit to Lake Ozark Speedway.

World of Outlaws Invade Lake Ozark Speedway on May 4 after an 11-Year Absense

ELDON, MO — April 25, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series’ return to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO, is just around the corner on Friday, May 4. The event will mark the first visit for the series to the third-mile since 2007 and just the third-ever race for the Outlaws at the venue.

Leading the way will be nine-time and defending Series Champion Donny Schatz, who is the current series point leader on the strength of four wins thus far in 2018. The North Dakota native has taken part in both of the previous World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series races at Lake Ozark Speedway. Schatz finished sixth in his most recent start at the track in 2007.

Tickets Now on Sale for Outlaws Return to Lake Ozark Speedway

ELDON, Mo. — March 5, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series last visited Lake Ozark Speedway in 2007, with Craig Dollansky scoring the win. The inaugural Outlaws event at the third-mile was in 2005 and Tim Shaffer picked up that victory. Shaffer recently announced that he will be competing full-time with the series in 2018, marking the first time in over a decade he has been a full-time World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series driver.

Series Returns to Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri Next Season for First Time Since 2007

ELDON,  MO — Nov. 14, 2017 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will return to Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri in 2018 on Friday, May 4, which marks the first time since 2007 that the series has visited the track. The event will be the third time overall that the Outlaws will compete at Lake Ozark Speedway.
