7/15/17 – Eldora Speedway

ROSSBURG, OH – July 15, 2017 – Donny Schatz made history in the 34th annual Kings Royal when the driver of the No.15 Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing took the lead on lap 14 and led the final 27 laps to become the first back-to-back winner in Kings Royal history. Schatz took the lead from polesitter and Kings Royal rookie Cole Duncan and never looked back as he dominated a caution-free Feature and won by over three seconds. Schatz’ teammate for the night, Christopher Bell, drove from 20th to a second-place finish. Brad Sweet completed a weekend streak of podium finishes with a third-place run.

7/14/17 – Eldora Speedway

ROSSBURG, OH — July 14, 2017 — Christopher Bell took the lead from Brad Sweet in turn three and then held off a surging Donny Schatz on a restart with nine laps to go to win the Knight Before the Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway. Bell, who lined up for the 30-lap main event in third, engaged in a thrilling battle with Brian Brown in the opening laps before catching and then passing Brad Sweet in lapped traffic. Schatz surged in the middle of the race as the track continued to slick off and put his best towards Bell, but fell 0.591 seconds short of the victory. Brad Sweet earned his second straight podium finish with a third-place result while Ian Madsen and Brown rounded out the podium finishers.

7/13/17 – Eldora Speedway

ROSSBURG, OH — July 13, 2017 — Kerry Madsen started on the pole for the 30-lap Jokers Wild Feature after winning the Craftsman Club Dash and then was simply dominant as he lead every single lap on the way to the victory. The win was Madsen’s fourth of the season with the Outlaws as he held off fellow front row starter Brad Sweet. Madsen overcame an injury to his right hand after a rock cut him in the opening five laps. Brian Brown raced to a strong third after a thrilling battle with David Gravel. Tim Shaffer drove a consistent race to a fourth-place finish while Gravel rounded out the top-five.

7/11/17 – Attica Raceway Park

ATTICA, OH – July 11, 2017 – Tim Shaffer dominated the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park, but David Gravel’s late surge allowed him to take the lead coming to the white flag and lead the final two laps to steal the victory. It was Gravel’s 10th win of the season, setting a new career-high season wins record for the Watertown, CT driver. Daryn Pittman rounded out the podium after a thrilling late battle with Rico Abreu and Brent Marks. Brad Sweet earned a fourth-place finish after starting 25th when he took a provisional starting spot. Abreu rounded out the top-five finishers.

7/8/2017 – Cedar Lake Speedway

NEW RICHMOND, WI — July 8, 2017 — Kerry “The Madman” Madsen took the checkers during the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown Night Two Feature at Cedar Lake Speedway, making it a full weekend sweep for the Big Game Motorsports 2M driver. In what looked a lot like a replay of the night before, Brad Sweet and Donny Schatz followed him through the checkers after several failed efforts to take and maintain the lead.

7/7/2017 – Cedar Lake Speedway

NEW RICHMOND, WI — July 7, 2017 — Night one of the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown at Cedar Lake Speedway went to Kerry Madsen after he stole the lead from Jac Haudenschild in Lap 2 and held it for the remaining 38 laps with only a very short-lived threat from Brad Sweet in the final laps. Sweet fought a tough battle with Donny Schatz throughout the race, ultimately leading him through the checkers behind Madsen. Meanwhile, Greg Wilson was stealthily charging up from 15 to land in fourth behind them.

7/6/2017 – Deer Creek Speedway

SPRING VALLEY, MN — July 6, 2017 — After getting postponed a week due to a rain storm that hit the Deer Creek Speedway during lap three of the 40-lap Feature, the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series returned in grand fashion. Once the field took the green flag, it was Kraig Kinser that got by David Gravel just before the half-way point of the race. Kinser withstood multiple charges from the eight-time champion to bring home his first Outlaws victory of the 2017 season.

7/1/2017 Dakota State Fair Speedway

HURON, S.D — July 1, 2017 — Starting from the front row, Shane Stewart grabbed the lead exiting Turn 2 on the opening lap and set sail. Withstanding numerous restarts throughout the 30-lap Feature, it all came down to the final one with one lap to go. When Stewart restarted directly in front of Schatz. The top two of Stewart and Schatz headed down the backstretch coming to the checkers. Schatz was able to get a run coming out of Turn 2 allowing him to drive by Stewart to pick up his 13th victory of the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series season.

6/27/2017 – The Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway

JOLIET, IL — June 26, 2017 — Donny Schatz took the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing No. 15 Arctic Cat machine through the checkers to win the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at The Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway, stealing the lead from Kraig Kinser with only four laps to go. Although Kinser saw his best race of the season to date, Schatz rode him hard, and he ultimately landed in eighth with Kasey Kahne Racing teammates Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman following Schatz through the checkers.

6/24/2017 – Beaver Dam Raceway

BEAVER DAM, WI — June 24, 2017 — Larson Marks Racing driver Shane Stewart made the weekend a sweep as he took the checkers for the second night in a row, this time at the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway. In a night full of cautions and chaos, and even a bit of rain, Greg Wilson, who led the race for 24 laps, came in just short of the podium as Kerry Madsen charged all the way from the back at 21 to come in second with Jason Johnson behind him.
