Kinser’s runner-up finish in Outlaw Showdown slices Saldana’s overall championship lead to 9 points 

CONCORD, N.C. — May 28, 2011 — Paul McMahan had no idea what his 2011 racing plans were when he took off for a vacation in Cancun, Mexico, last fall. McMahan had filled in for injured Cody Darrah at Kasey Kahne Racing in 2010, even putting the car in victory lane at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. McMahan called Kahne and inquired about his future with the team.

Kinser Closes Gap on Points Leader as Mother Nature Shortens Weekend Again

The World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series staged a classic event on Friday night at Attica (Ohio) Raceway Park and the capacity crowd witnessed a vintage performance by Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz. The driver of the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Chevrolet J&J raced to his first victory of the season and 106th career WoO A-Feature triumph. TSR’s Steve Kinser was a contender throughout the program in the TSR No. 11 Bass Pro Shops/J.D. Byrider/ Chevrolet Maxim and ultimately finished sixth.

Runner Up at Attica

Following a weekend in Pennsylvania, the Big Game Treestands #7 team returned to ‘The Buckeye State’ on Friday as racing resumed at Attica Raceway Park, a 1/3-mile oval that Dollansky has recorded top-ten finishes in all four World of Outlaws starts including a podium finish in 2005.
A beautiful day in Attica, Ohio would see the local competition came out in full-force as 57 sprinters signed into the pit area to do battle in the Kistler Engines Classic.  In qualifying time trials, Dollansky rocketed the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim to the 12th fastest time overall at 12.707 seconds.  Starting from outside row one in the second heat, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ started alongside Kerry Madsen and burst out to the lead on the start and never looked back, leading all 10 laps to earn a spot in the dash.  In the 8-lap dash to set the grid for the main event, Dollansky gained one position and finished 4th.
