Sammy Swindell Captures Exciting Spring Classic Victory

Three-time series champ earns first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car win of 2014 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55

PEVELY, Mo. — April 26, 2014 — Sammy Swindell had a Jekyll and Hyde weekend. A rough Friday night left him using a provisional starting position for the feature in Salina, Okla. Saturday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway the driver of the Big Game Treestands #1 reversed course and started on the outside pole of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series feature event, and after several tough battles found victory lane to earn his first win of the season.

Shannon Babb Gets First Illini 100 Victory In Front of Hometown Crowd

Land of Lincoln driver pockets $20,000, becomes eighth different tour winner

FARMER CITY, Ill. – April 26, 2014 – Shannon Babb became the first Illinois driver to capture the Illini 100 on Saturday night at Farmer City Raceway.

The Moweaqua, Ill., driver started seventh, took the lead on lap 46 from Bobby Pierce and never looked back en route to a $20,000 payday in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series-sanctioned Sixth Annual Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway. Babb became the eighth different winner in eight races on this year’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series tour across America.
