BARBERVILLE, FL – Feb. 20, 2014 – Casey Roberts wasn’t running at the finish of the three dirt Late Model features that kicked off the 43rd annual DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment.

But when the checkered flag flew on the fourth race – Thursday night’s 50-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main – the unheralded 36-year-old driver from Toccoa, Ga., was first across the finish line.

World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Stat Attack

Three races, three winners after opening weekend at DIRTcar Nationals

CONCORD, N.C. — Feb 20, 2014 — The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series opened the season with three nights of racing last Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment.

The event saw a different driver in victory lane each night. Brad Sweet took the win in his opening night of his first season as a touring driver with the Outlaws. Five-time champion Donny Schatz captured the second night of racing in dominant fashion on Saturday by surging from the 11th starting position. Steve Kinser capped off the weekend with a win on Sunday night after a fierce battle with 2013 Outlaw champion, Daryn Pittman.

Car #51 captures three Quick Time awards and the overall DIRTcar Nationals title to start ’14

TELFORD, Pa. – February 18, 2014 – With flashbulbs popping all around him, Paul McMahan exhaled and smiled.

After an impressive four-night stretch that included three Quick Time awards, three top-5’s and four Top-10’s, the Nashville, Tenn. resident was crowned the overall DIRTcar Nationals Champion at Volusia Speedway Park to kick off the 2014 season.
