CANANDAIGUA, NY – June 25, 2013 – Bub McCool of Vicksburg, Miss., charged from third to first on a lap-29 restart and held off Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y., down the stretch to capture Tuesday night’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series Sweeteners Plus 40 at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.

Racing just five days after celebrating his 36th birthday, the 2012 WoO LMS Rookie of the Year broke through for his first victory of the season and the second of his career on the national tour. The $8,550 triumph culminated a successful swing through New York and Canada for McCool, who finished no worse than eighth in four starts behind the wheel of his family-owned Victory Circle car.

The native of Watertown, Conn., led all 30 laps en route to earning the second World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series win of his career.

Strong Showing in Fergus Falls Debut

Following a top-ten finish in Grand Forks on Friday, the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team traveled south to Fergus Falls, Minnesota the following night as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars geared up for their inaugural visit to I-94 Speedway.

After much anticipation and a huge crowd on hand at the highbanked 3/8-mile, Dollansky began the race program qualifying 8th at 13.217 seconds among the 28 drivers signed into the pit area.  Starting outside pole of heat two, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ led the endurance of the 8-lap event capturing his series-leading 12th heat race victory and earning a spot in the dash.  After a four pill inversion draw for the dash just missed the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim, Dollansky started outside row three advancing one spot to finish 5th.

World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Wild West Tour’ Sports Hoosier Tire Rule For First Time In 2013

Busy Swing Will Visit Six Tracks In Five States & One Canadian Province From July 5-12

CONCORD, NC – June 24, 2013 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Wild West Tour’ will be run under a Hoosier tire rule for the first time this season, series officials have announced.

A summer staple of the national full-fender circuit, the Wild West Tour will visit six tracks in five states and one Canadian province from July 5-12. Drivers will compete for $56,000 in first-place cash from total purses totaling over a quarter-million dollars during the eight-day western trip.
