INDIANAPOLIS (July 25, 2012) – There are few boundaries when it comes to the excitement the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series offers on any given night. For the sixth consecutive season, the Outlaws will travel into Canada and stage international events to close a busy July. Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz have been very successful north of the border the last few seasons and both hope that continues during the four-race run through Quebec and Ontario.

Tire Rules Set For Upcoming World of Outlaws Late Model Series Events at Shawano, Cedar Lake & Independence

CONCORD, NC – July 25, 2012 – Tire rules for upcoming World of Outlaws Late Model Series events at Shawano (Wis.) Speedway, Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., and Independence (Iowa) Speedway have been set, tour officials announced.
The 50-lap, $10,000-to-win shows on Wed., Aug. 1, at Shawano and Mon., Aug. 6, at Independence will utilize the same Hoosier-only tire mandate. Teams will be permitted to use Hoosier LM20, LM30 and LM40 compounds as well as Hoosier 55s and 1600s.

(Bill W) July 25, 2012 – Kerry Madsen had a busy week in New York and Pennsylvania that saw him finish in the top ten each night. Next the Keneric Racing #29 team will head north of the border to Canada for events at Granby and Drummondville, Quebec and Cornwall and Ohsweken, Ontario.
World Traveler: Kraig Kinser Heads North of the Border for Four Races
Bloomington, Ind. — July 25, 2012 — For the last half dozen years, the World of Outlaws have continually expanded their presence north of the border in Canada. What began as four races at two tracks in 2007 has blossomed into six nights of racing at five facilities in the Great White North, with the first of those four races taking place over a five-day span over the next week. Kraig Kinser made his first appearance in Canada in 2008, adding to his resume, which included previous international starts in Australia.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — July 25, 2012 — Confidence won’t be an issue when Kraig Kinser returns to River Cities Speedway.
The fastest track on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series schedule hosts its second event of the season on Friday, Aug. 17, for Round 2 of The Duel at the Dakotas Presented by Gerdau and Sleep Inn & Suites. Kinser charged to his first career win at the high-banked facility, which is officially listed at 4/10 mile, during the Outlaws first race in June.
“It’s definitely a confidence builder,” Kinser said. “We actually had a rough night going until the feature. We’ll take a look at how we were set up there and make little changes and try to get a little bit quicker.”
