GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Aug. 19, 2011 —Tony Stewart Racing teammates Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz waged an epic back and forth battle for the checkers at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. Neither driver was able to gain a clear advantage on the other and the 40 lap main event came down to the final turn. KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Aug. 13, 2011 — Donny Schatz wasted little time finding his way to the front of the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals on Saturday night at historic Knoxville Raceway. Normally a driver who excels in the latter stages of a race, the four-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion quickly charged from 13th to fifth, then set his sights on the lead of the $150,000-to-win, 50-lap main event. KNOXVILLE, Iowa. – Aug. 11, 2011 – Mark Dobmeier knew he let one World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory slip away earlier this year at Princeton (Minn.) Speedway and he wasn’t about to let Thursday night’s Goodyear Knoxville Nationals qualifying event get away from him, too.

PEVELY, Mo. – Aug. 6, 2011 – Craig Dollansky proved to be this season’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Ironman when he moved to the point on Saturday night at I-55 Raceway and held off defending champion Jason Meyers for his series-leading seventh victory of the year. BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Aug. 5, 2011 – Donny Schatz charged to the lead and held on during two green-white-checkered finishes to capture the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series return to Bloomington Speedway for the first time in 11 years. Lucas Wolfe was second with Paul McMahan, Chad Kemenah and Jason Meyers rounding out the Top 5. Hometown hero Steve Kinser was sixth with his son, Kraig, finishing 10th. RAPID CITY, S.D. – Aug. 23, 2011 – Donny Schatz had a bullet when the green flag flew on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series return to Black Hills Speedway. The four-time champion was sitting on the pole and powered forward to lead all 25 laps, slicing his way through traffic while holding off his Tony Stewart Racing teammate Steve Kinser, to claim his sixth win of the season and third in a row at Black Hills.
