A Consistent Night for Kraig Kinser at Paducah; Pevely Falls to Rain

Bloomington, Ind.— April 15, 2012 — Consistency is one of the key ingredients to being successful over the course of the nearly 80-race season when competing with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Kraig Kinser has had a very consistent start to the 2012 campaign, finishing among the Top-10 in seven of the first nine races and currently finds himself fourth in the series standings, following the series first stop of the year in the Midwest this past weekend.

Kraig Kinser Takes on Paducah and Pevely

Bloomington, Ind. — April 11, 2012 — While Kraig Kinser enjoys racing at just about any dirt track, the facilities in the Midwest, where he cut his teeth in sprint car racing, will always be near and dear to him. A couple of those venues are Paducah International Raceway in Kentucky and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Missouri, and he will get a chance to compete at each this weekend as the World of Outlaws return to action and begin a nine-race stretch in the Midwest.

STEVE KINSER & DONNY SCHATZ: Outlaws’ Midwest Debut Begins Busy April Slate for Tony Stewart Racing

INDIANAPOLIS (April 10, 2012) – One of the best aspects of racing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series is there are plenty of opportunities to compete. Following a rare weekend off and with their next scheduled off weekend not until mid-October, Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz are ready to resume competition beginning Friday night at Paducah (Ky.) International Raceway. The race will be the first of the season in the Midwest and launches a seven-race run over the next three weeks with stops at dirt tracks in six different states. Saturday, they’ll duel it out on the high banks of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo.

Kerry Madsen – Returning to the shop

(Bill W) April 4, 2012 – Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team finished up their western swing with the World of Outlaws last weekend in Merced, California.  The St. Mary’s, New South Wales, driver is glad to be back to his stateside home and the team’s headquarters in Knoxville, Iowa as he prepares for his next outing.  The WoO takes a weekend off before hitting Paducah, Kentucky and Pevely, Missouri on April 13 and 14.

Kinser Closes Outlaws’ California Swing with Another Top 10

As often is the case for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series in March, Mother Nature continues to be more than a formidable foe. For the third consecutive weekend, Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) drivers Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz were able to compete Friday and Saturday but were forced to watch as rain prevailed. Kinser closed the Outlaws’ spring California tour by finishing seventh in Friday night’s WoO 40-lap A-Feature at Merced (Calif.) Speedway while Schatz finished 15th after some bad luck midway through the main event.

Fourth-Place Finish for Kraig Kinser at Merced Speedway and a New Track Record

Bloomington, Ind. — April 1, 2012 — With the high level of competition at each and every World of Outlaws event, qualifying and being in the right position at the beginning of the night is of the utmost importance. No driver has been quicker in qualifying over the last two weeks that Kraig Kinser, as he has set fast time in each of the last two races for the series. On Friday night at Merced Speedway, the native of Bloomington, Ind. was nearly two-tenths of-a-second faster than any other driver, en route to establishing a new track record at the now one-third-mile bullring.
