Sides Starting New Top-10 Streak After Nine-Race Streak Snapped in Sedalia

Inside Line Promotions – PARK CITY, Kan. (May 8, 2017) – Jason Sides is starting a new streak after his nine-race top-10 streak was snapped last Friday because of a flat tire.

Sides entered the Sedalia Show-Me Showdown on Friday at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo., riding his best World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series streak since capturing nine top 10s in a row in August and September of 2010.

He began the night qualifying third quickest overall before he placed third in a heat race after starting on the pole.

It was a special weekend for Tony Stewart-Curb/Agajanian Racing (TSR) driver Donny Schatz and the Arctic Cat/Ford Performance-backed team as they returned to victory lane twice in World of Outlaws (WoO) Craftsman Sprint Car Series action. Schatz drove the TSR No. 15 Arctic Cat/Ford Performance/Curb J&J past Daryn Pittman midway through Friday night’s Show-Me State Showdown at State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri and led all 30 laps of the Kansas Outlaw Klassic Saturday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas.

Sides Nearly Scores First World of Outlaws Win of Season, Extends Top-10 Streak to Nine Straight

Inside Line Promotions – PLYMOUTH, Ind. (May 1, 2017) – Jason Sides was two laps away from winning his first World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event of the season last Friday at Plymouth Speedway.

Sides led 28 laps of the 35-lap main event, but he was passed with two laps remaining during his second career appearance at the bullring. He settled for a runner-up result, which marked his best result of the season and his ninth consecutive top-10 finish with the World of Outlaws.

Avon, Ind. resident, Shane Stewart, and the Larson Marks team will be in action at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway on Friday, followed up with Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. on Saturday.

LAST YEAR AT PLYMOUTH: In the World of Outlaws’ inaugural event at Plymouth Speedway, Stewart timed in with the 13th-quickest lap time after being the first car out for qualifying. He went on to finish fourth in his heat race and 15th in the main event.
