NEW RICHMOND, WI — Aug. 3, 2018 — 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series rookie of the year, Devin Moran won the 31st annual USA Nationals Dash to earn the pole for the $50,000 main event of the weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway (WI). Jimmy Owens, one of 10 Heat Race Winners on the night, will start in the outside of the front row. Other Heat Race Winners on the night were: Jason Rauen, Chris Madden, Shannon Babb, Kyle Bronson, Brian Shirley, Dale McDowell, Brandon Sheppard, Jimmy Mars and Tyler Erb. The FANS Fund Dash. Two Last Chance Showdowns & the 100-Lap Feature will close out the weekend.

NEW RICHMOND, WI — Aug. 2, 2018 — The 31st annual USA Nationals weekend kicked off on Thursday, August 2nd at the immaculate 3/8s-mile of Cedar Lake Speedway (WI) located just across the Minnesota/Wisconsin state line and northeast of Minneapolis, MN in New Richmond, WI. The first of three nights of racing for the World of Outlaws® Craftsman Late Model Series, would see the teams vie for a $6,000 to win payday and some important track time in anticipation of Friday and Saturday’s show. After swapping the lead back and forth several times over the coarse of the race, Brandon Sheppard slipped by Jonathan Davenport for the final time coming down for the checkered to secure his 10th Feature Win of the season.
07/31/18 – Shawano Speedway
SHAWANO, WI — July 31, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series returned to the big ½-mile of Shawano Speedway, located west of Green Bay in Shawano, WI for the next race on the “Week of Wisconsin” Tour on Tuesday, July 31st. The $10,000 to win Sundrop Shootout would also mark the 10th all-time appearance by the most powerful stock cars in the world. When all was said and done after 50 laps, it was Chris Madden, who started on the pole and dominated all 50 laps en route to his sixth Feature win of the season. With the victory, the Gray Court, SC standout moved into a tie for the points lead in the chase for the 2018 series championship.
07/30/18 – Plymouth Dirt Track
PLYMOUTH, WI — July 30, 2018 — For the first time in World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series history, the most powerful stock cars in the world invaded the 1/3-mile of Plymouth Dirt Track (Sheboygan County Fair Park) located east of Fond du Lac in Plymouth, WI for the Wisconsin Refrigerated 50. The $10,000 to win show on Monday, July 30th would see defending series champion, Brandon Sheppard grab the lead on lap five and then hold off a late charge from 2017 rookie of the year, Devin Moran to score his ninth Feature win of the season and 33rd of his Outlaws career.
7/29/18 – Weedsport Speedway
WEEDSPORT, NY – July 29, 2018 – Brent Marks led all 35 laps en route to his second career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature at Weedsport Speedway. Despite Marks lapping up to ninth in the non-stop Feature, it was far from easy as he fended off Sheldon Haudenschild and Jacob Allen who completed the podium.
07/28/18 – Fairbury American Legion Speedway
FAIRBURY, IL — July 28, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series headlined one of the most prestigious races in the country; the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic presented by Bank of Pontiac. The fast quarter-mile of Fairbury American Legion Speedway (IL), located northeast of Bloomington in Fairbury, IL on Friday-Saturday, July 27-28th served as hosts as the 100-lap main paying $30,000 to win would see a rising star emerge victorious with his first major victory of his career. The 2017 Outlaws Rookie of the Year, 23-year-old Devin Moran passed defending series champion and defending race winner, Brandon Sheppard for the final time with 21 laps to go to secure the big payday.
7/27/18 – Ransomville Speedway
RANSOMVILLE, NY – July 27, 2018 – David Gravel fought off multiple charges from Brad Sweet to lead all 30 laps and claim his fifth win of the 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series 40th Anniversary Season at Ransomville Speedway. Sweet took the lead on two occasions but settled for second for the second consecutive year at Ransomville. Polesitter Donny Schatz completed the podium.

DAVENPORT, IA – July 24, 2018 – Home state favorite from nearby Mt. Vernon, IA, Chad Simpson held off challenges from current points leader Mike Marlar and late in the race from second in points, Chris Madden to score his first career World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Feature victory. For the 39-year-old, his win was worth $10,000.
7/20/18 – Williams Grove Speedway
MECHANICSBURG, PA – July 20, 2018 – Lance Dewease got better with each restart and passed Donny Schatz on Lap 20 to win his 91st career Feature at Williams Grove Speedway and 14th World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series triumph. Schatz settled for second with Brian Montieth completing the podium.
