9/29/18 – Atomic Speedway, Night #2

CHILLICOTHE, OH – September 29, 2018 – Tyler Erb goes back to back at Atomic Speedway on Saturday night for his second World of Outlaws win in two days. Mike Marlar made it a show with one lap remaining, battling with Erb down the backstretch and into turns 3&4. Brandon Sheppard once again drove hard but came up just a bit short in his efforts to collect number 13 on the year, giving up the race lead late on a costly mistake in turns 1&2, allowing Erb and Marlar to slip by.

9/28/18 – Atomic Speedway, Night #1

CHILLICOTHE, OH – September 29, 2018 – “Terbo” Tyler Erb gets his very first World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Victory in a race that saw a very rough track, a ton of passing and some bizzarre antics throughout the race. Last year’s winner, Devin Moran, led most of the race but couldn’t hold off Erb to repeat in 2018. Brandon Sheppard completed the podium in what was a very up-and-down race for him, starting third, blowing a tire early and fighting all the way back to claim third by lap 40.

9/28/18 – Williams Grove Speedway

MECHANICSBURG, PA – September 28, 2018 – On an emotional night in Pennsylvania Posse country, it was neither the locals or Outlaws in Victory Lane, as phenom Gio Scelzi passed two-time National Open Champion David Gravel to lead Lap 16 and never looked back to win his first career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Victory on the opening night of the Champion Racing Oil Williams Grove National Open. Scelzi became the youngest driver to ever win a World of Outlaws race at the ripe age of 16 years and 10 months. Gravel settled for second with Lucas Wolfe completing the podium.

9/23/18 – Outlaw Speedway

DUNDEE, NY – September 23, 2018 – Brandon Sheppard bags his 12th victory of the season at the Outlaw Speedway in the inaguaral Series race at the 4/10-mile. After blowing an engine in a hard-charging effort at Selinsgrove on Saturday night, the Rocket Chassis house car was able to rebound very nicely on Sunday, in what was a rainout make-up from two days earlier. Devin Moran posted yet another second-place finish after a bonzai move with two to go to the inside of Mike Marlar, who finished third. Then-points leader Chris Madden dropped out with front-end issues early on in the race, which handed the points lead back over to Marlar.

9/22/18 – Selinsgrove Speedway

SELINSGROVE, PA – September 22, 2018 – Chris Madden makes it number eight on the season in the 20th Annual Late Model National Open at Selinsgrove Speedway over Devin Moran, Mike Marlar, Rick Eckert and Jeff Rine. Madden once again went flag-to-flag, leading all 50 laps on a very fast racetrack. Speaking of fast, third-place finisher Mike Marlar broke the track record with a time of 18.618, a whole two tenths faster than the previous record holder – Rick Eckert in 2012 with a 18.848. Devin Moran finished second after drawing the 4th starting spot, outlasting Marlar in a fierce battle for the runner-up spot in the closing laps.

9/21/18 – Eldora Speedway

ROSSBURG, OH – September 21, 2018 — On an emotional night at one of the most famous dirt tracks in the world, Brent Marks won a thrilling race, passing fellow Central Pennsylvania Outlaw Logan Schuchart for the lead on Lap 23 and holding off a furious charge from 13th-starting Dave Blaney, Schuchart and 23rd-starting Greg Wilson. It was Marks’ third career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory and first at the historic Ohio facility. Marks dedicated the win to Greg Hodnett, who passed tragically the night before in an unsanctioned race in Pennsylvania.

9/15/18 – Calistoga Speedway

CALISTOGA, CA – September 15, 2018 – An opportune Yellow Flag allowed Cory Eliason to officially lead all 25 laps Saturday night at Calistoga Speedway for his second career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory. Donny Schatz took the lead off of turn four coming to the White Flag, but the caution negated the pass, forcing Schatz to be relegated back to second, where he finished. Logan Schuchart finished third, his second podium in as many nights at Calistoga.

9/14/18 – Calistoga Speedway

CALISTOGA, CA – September 14, 2018 – Daryn Pittman held off Logan Schuchart by a car-length to win his 8th World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Feature of 2018 Friday night at Calistoga Speedway. Pittman led all 25 laps but shredded a right rear immediately after the checkered and limped his Kasey Kahne Racing No.9 to the scales and to Victory Lane. Schuchart settled for second, just 0.133 seconds behind Pittman, with Rico Abreu completing the podium.

9/12/18 – Placerville Speedway

PLACERVILLE, CA – September 12, 2018 – Brad Sweet passed Rico Abreu on Lap 8, was masterful through heavy lapped traffic and held off Sheldon Haudenschild in a Green-White-Checkered finish to win the 49er Gold Rush Classic Presented by Riebes NAPA Auto Parts at Placerville Speedway. The win was Sweet’s 7th of the season and worth $20,000. Haudenschild kept the fans on the edge of their seat and came home second with local Andy Forsberg, who scored $2000 for setting Quick Time earlier in the evening, completing the podium.
