CONCORD, NC – Sept. 15, 2018 – It’s been a long and grueling season for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models, traveling to 28 tracks across 18 different states for a total of 36 races. Of the 49 events on the official Series schedule, seven were cancelled by inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, 36 have been completed and only six remain.
JOLIET, IL — June 27, 2017 — Eight-time champion and current points leader Donny Schatz took the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing No. 15 Arctic Cat machine through the checkers to win the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at The Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway, stealing the lead from Kraig Kinser with only five laps to go. Although Kinser saw his best race of the season to date, Schatz rode him hard, and he ultimately landed in eighth with Kasey Kahne Racing teammates Brad Sweet and Daryn Pittman following Schatz through the checkers.
CONCORD, NC — June 26, 2017 — One driver is set for a busy week when the World of Outlaws rolls into Joliet, IL for the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at the Dirt Oval at Route 66. When the opportunity arises, Donny Schatz is one driver that jumps at the chance to race anything with wheels on it, even if that makes his schedule a little busier. Schatz will strap into his No. 15 Arctic Cat World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series ride on Tuesday night, and the following night he’ll switch gears and jump into his No. 15 Rocket Chassis with the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series.
CONCORD, N.C. — June 13, 2017 — In Joliet, IL, within the footprint of a state-of-the-art NASCAR facility, sits a premier dirt racing facility, the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway. The 3/8-mile dirt oval will shine bright when the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series and Late Model Series converge in Illinois for a two-night event on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 27 and 28 for the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic.
The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series are set to converge in Illinois. The nation’s two premier dirt touring Series will cross paths during the second annual FVP Outlaw Clay Classic at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL on June 27 and 28. It’s the only chance for fans to see both World of Outlaws Series on consecutive nights this season before the World of Outlaws World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in November.
