The 32nd annual USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway (WI), set for Thursday-Saturday, August 1-3, already has one of the most impressive paydays in the country at $50,000 to win. Now the high-profile event just got even more prestigious in the form of $3,000 just to start during the 2019 edition of the race, bringing the total purse for the event to almost $300,000.

CONCORD, NC — Aug. 1, 2018 — Late Model driver Ricky Weiss was disqualified, fined, and put on probation for unsportsmanlike conduct at Shawano Speedway on July 31 for, including, but not limited to, approaching a race car in the pit area with intentions of starting an altercation. The altercation resulted in contact from the competitor to the fellow driver.

FAIRBURY, IL — The Prairie Dirt Classic (PDC) presented by Bank of Pontiac at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (FALS) already draws a huge crowd and is well known as one of dirt Late Model racing’s most thrilling events. This year, though, even more fans will have an opportunity to witness the intense action that has made the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series extravaganza a three-time winner of DirtonDirt.com’s Race of the Year.

Every ticket purchased in advance for the World of Outlaws events at Dubuque Speedway on July 6 and Farley Speedway on Aug. 6 will come with a free fan pit pass.

With special access to the pit area, fans will be able to meet their favorite drivers, watch crew members turn wrenches on the 800 horsepower machines, attend and listen to the drivers meeting, see lineups and results at the World of Outlaws command center and more.

All three nights contain complete Sears Craftsman shootouts with $6,000-to-win on both Thursday and Friday. CONCORD, NC – May 8, 2018– After more than 14 consecutive seasons together, Chub Frank has officially retired from competition with the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series. Frank has entered every World of Outlaws event since the Series rekindled in 2004 (except for two races due to an injury).

Over the years, Frank has collected 16 World of Outlaws wins, with his first win being on April 23, 2004 in his home state of Pennsylvania at Lernerville Speedway, and his last win being at K-C Raceway (now Atomic Speedway) in Ohio on August 22, 2009. Frank currently sits 10th on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series All-Time Wins list.

The next World of Outlaws event will be at Whynot Motorsports Park on April 19-20-21 for the inaugural Queen City Shootout.
