Casey Shuman Takes World of Outlaws Late Model Series Reins

CONCORD, NC — Jan. 7, 2019 — As the 2019 season is set to kick off in just one month, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series is excited to welcome racer, owner and promoter Casey Shuman as Series Director.

Born and raised in Rattlesnake Bend, Arizona and now residing in Indianapolis, Indiana, Shuman raced non-winged sprints and midgets for more than 20 years before stepping into the role of owner and promoter of the Wingless Auto Racing (WAR) Series in 2016. Staying true to his competitor roots, Shuman has successfully revitalized the POWRi WAR Series into one of the fastest growing series in the Midwest and now steps into a leading role with the premier dirt Late Model series.

Six new faces on the Series tour will surely shake up 2019 competition

CONCORD, NC – Dec. 17, 2018 – Two World of Outlaws Late Model Series Rookies of the Year have eventually gone on to win the season-long championship. In 2019, six drivers will be taking their first steps toward adding their names to that exclusive list.

Ricky Weiss, G.R. Smith, Blake Spencer, Kyle Hardy, Cade Dillard and Chuck Hummer all have their sights set on the rookie title in 2019. All have unique talents and believe they can survive a season against the toughest competition they will have ever faced night in and night out.

Roster news begins to break with Blake Spencer’s plans to run for Rookie of the Year in 2019

CONCORD, NC – Dec. 3, 2018 – Revolution Racing and driver Blake Spencer have announced their plans to follow the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series in 2019. The St. Augustine, FL-based team competed in 16 events throughout 2018, placing them 16^th in Series points, and will be in contention next year for the Rookie of the Year title.

DELEON, FL — Sept. 24, 2018 — Volusia Speedway Park announced today a $500,000 overhaul of its main frontstretch grandstand and wall as part of ongoing efforts to provide a top-notch experience for fans and racers at the two-week long, season-opening DIRTcar Nationals.

As the demand for reserved seating continues to grow — with standing-room-only crowds for World of Outlaws shows — the new grandstand will expand reserved seating options and make the overall experience more comfortable for fans.
