World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at a Glance

River Cities Speedway, Red River Valley Speedway

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – June 12, 2012 – Four drivers in the top five of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship standings have won at both tracks that the series heads to this weekend.

Steve Kinser, a 20-time Outlaws champion who currently leads the standings, has two World of Outlaws feature victories at River Cities Speedway, which hosts Round 1 of The Duel in the Dakotas on Friday.

Donny Schatz, Craig Dollansky and Joey Saldana – who rank second, fourth and fifth in the World of Outlaws standings, respectively – also have multiple wins at the 4/10-mile track.

Kinser also has a series-best nine feature victories at Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, N.D., where the Outlaws will compete for the first time since 2009 on Saturday. Sammy Swindell, who is third in the standings, has six feature wins, and Schatz, Dollansky and Saldana also have won at the 3/8-mile oval.

WHEN

Friday, June 15, at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D., for Round 1 of The Duel in the Dakotas. The front gate is scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with hot laps set for 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 16, at Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, N.D. The front gate is scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with hot laps set for 7:30 p.m.
