About Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson enters the 2021 season as the 2020 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year.

He joined the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series full-time in 2020 and earned one one top-10.

For the last 10 years, Johnson has been competing mainly with the American Sprint Car Series in a 360-c.i. Sprint Car and running a handful of 410-c.i. Sprint Car races as well. In 2020, Johnson joins the tour with TwoC Racing and team owner Todd Carlile.

While never competing with the World of Outlaws full-time, Johnson has made more than 150 starts with the Series, dating back to his first start in 1996. He had seven Feature starts with the Series in 2019.
