Outlaws Return to Black Hills Speedway

CONCORD, NC — August 17, 2017 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series returns to Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, SD for the Rushmore Outlaw Showdown on Friday, August 25 for the first time since 2011.

The Outlaws last visit at the semi-banked, 5/8th-mile oval came six years ago, however, the “Greatest Show on Dirt” has a very rich history at the Rapid City, SD Speedway, dating back to 1983. Donny Schatz, who has won the last three visits at the Speedway, will be aiming to add to his total and become the winningest Outlaw driver at the Black Hills Speedway.

Up to Speed: Kraig Kinser back at Nodak Speedway for Magic City Showdown

MINOT, N.D. — August 16, 2017 — While it’s been a couple of years since he last raced at Nodak Speedway, past history dictates that Kraig Kinser shouldn’t have too much of a problem getting back up to speed at the track located at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot. After all, he has finished in the top-10 in seven of his eight career starts at the track, with four of those being top-five performances.

World of Outlaws Returns to BMP Speedway in Billings on August 26

BILLINGS, MT — August 17, 2017 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series returns to BMP Speedway in Billings, Montana for the first time since 2008 on Saturday, August 26 for the Big Sky Brawl at Billings. The event will mark the series fourth visit and sixth race overall (including two preliminary features) at the semi-banked, three-eighths-mile. A total of seven drivers who are currently full-time competitors with World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series raced at Billings in 2008.

Joey Saldana was victorious in the last World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event at BMP Speedway, which was then known as Billings Motorsports Park. The veteran driver charged from the seventh starting spot to pick up the win over eight-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz. Saldana steadily worked his way forward, taking the lead from Schatz on the 10th lap of the 25-lap race.
