CHICO, Calif. – March 28, 2015 – Donny Schatz scored a hard win in Saturday night’s Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway. Kerry Madsen battled the six-time champion and, at one point, took over the lead, before Schatz fought back. In the closing laps, a hard-charging Tanner Thorson tried to catch Schatz, but came a few laps too short. It was the second win in a week for Schatz.
