Daryn Pittman Charges to His Third SPEED SPORT Knoxville World Challenge Win
KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Aug. 9, 2014 — Daryn Pittman battled Tim Kaeding and changing track conditions to win the SPEED SPORT Knoxville World Challenge and $10,000 on Saturday afternoon.
Pittman, the reigning World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series champion, has two previous wins in the Challenge in 2004 and 2005.
Danny Lasoski Overcomes Engine Trouble to Win Non-Qualifier Feature
KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Aug. 9, 2014 — Engine trouble could not slow Danny Lasoski as he won the FVP Knoxville Nationals non-qualifier feature Saturday afternoon.
The problems on Lasoski’s Creason Pipeline Services car popped up after he crossed the finish line in heat two. His crew quickly repaired the car and Lasoski was able to take his seventh place starting position in the feature.

Schatz, who leads the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, scored his eighth Knoxville Nationals title in nine seasons.
KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Aug. 9, 2014 – Engine trouble could not slow Danny Lasoski as he won the FVP Knoxville Nationals non-qualifier feature Saturday afternoon. After working his way through the field, Lasoski battled past Steve Kinser, Jac Haudenschild and Jack Dover to take the lead on lap 11.
Shane Stewart Makes Last Lap Pass to Win Knoxville Nationals Qualifier
Stewart ties Madsen for second in points; Schatz takes the lead and the pole in Saturday’s A main
KNOXVILLE, Iowa — Aug. 8, 2014 — One lap is all Shane Stewart led at Friday night’s qualifying feature for the FVP Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores, but it was the one that mattered.
Stewart, who has one World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series win on the season at Eldora Speedway in May, started the feature Friday night in sixth and after working his way through the field, passed Kraig Kinser on the final lap for the win.
KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Aug. 8, 2014 – Daryn Pittman is the defending World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series champion who is looking to win the FVP Knoxville Nationals for the first time in his career. The 1998 Knoxville Nationals rookie of the year, Pittman has a career-high 11 victories this season, including four victories in July alone. He’s as prepared as ever to challenge for the $150,000 victory on Saturday night.
