TULARE, Calif., March 16 — After dazzling the veterans on Friday by winning the dash and leading most of the feature, Shark Racing’s Logan Schuchart posted his best finish ever in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway. The rookie from Hanover, Pa., passed veteran Terry McCarl with just three laps to go and went on to finish second to Rico Abreu in the 35-lap feature.

Shark Racing’s Schuchart Wins Dash, Leads 22 Laps of WoO Feature Friday at Thunderbowl And Records a Top-10 Finish
TULARE, Calif., March 15 — Rookie Logan Schuchart (pronounced SHU-hart) had an excellent showing in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Friday night in his first visit ever to Thunderbowl Raceway. Driving the Shark Racing #1S, the 21-year-old driver from Hanover, Pa. qualified eighth, finished second in his heat, led all six laps enroute to winning the dash, and then led the first 22 laps of the 35-lap A main, eventually finishing eighth.

STOCKTON, Calif. – March 22, 2014 – Kerry Madsen caught Donny Schatz in the final corner of the FVP Western Spring Shootout on Saturday night at the Stockton Dirt Track and surged past the five-time champion for his first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series victory of the season in the American Racing Custom Wheels car. Schatz was second with Joey Saldana, Jason Meyers and Bud Kaeding rounding out the top five.
