MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – May 23, 2013 – One year ago Steve Casebolt Jr. was a serious contender for victory in the inaugural Jackpot 100 Presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Tyler County Speedway, finishing third in what was just his second start of the season following an eight-month break from dirt Late Model racing.

This weekend (May 25-26) the 34-year-old driver from Richmond, Ind., is planning a return to ‘The Bullring’ for the second annual World of Outlaws Late Model Series event – and this time he won’t be battling any rustiness when he hits the quarter-mile oval’s clay surface.

Lone Visit to New Jersey Yields Top-Ten

For the first time since 2007 the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars returned to New Egypt Speedway for a weekday stop on Tuesday.  With the event also marking the only visit of the season in New Jersey, Craig Dollansky and the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team prepared for the 7/16-mile track where ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ has recorded top-tens in each of his three previous appearances including two top-fives.

After getting a feel for the track in hotlaps, Dollansky piloted the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim to the 16th fastest lap in qualifying at 13.775 seconds among the 32 drivers signed in for competition.  Heat race action then put the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprinter on the pole of heat four where the Elk River, Minnesota native took command leading all 8 circuits to earn a spot in the dash.  Starting last in the 6-lap dash, outside row five, Dollansky had no place to go but forward as he raced past three cars and then battled with Paul McMahan for sixth but ultimately finished 7th.
