HANFORD, Calif. – April 8, 2013 – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series concludes its five-week spring swing through California this weekend.
On Friday, Kings Speedway in Hanford hosts the premier sprint car series. A different winner has claimed each of the past eight features on the 3/8 mile dating back to 1999.
The SoCal Showdown at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris wraps up the weekend on Saturday. The half mile has seen five straight different World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series winners since 2002.
Tony Stewart Racing Teams Return to Antioch, Mother Nature Washes Out Calistoga
Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz earned his second consecutive top-10 finish Friday as the World of Outlaws (WoO) STP Sprint Car Series continued action in California at Antioch Speedway. The driver of the No. 15 STP/Armor All/Chevrolet Performance J&J earned his eighth top-10 of the 2013 campaign and second in a row by finishing eighth in the 30-lap A-Feature. Steve Kinser drove TSR’s No. 11 Bad Boy Buggies/J.D. Byrider/Chevrolet Performance Maxim to a 19th-place finish.
