Perris Auto Speedway Hosts Outlaws on Saturday, April 13

Seven of last eight STP Sprint Car Series races at half mile featured different winners

PERRIS, Calif. — April 3, 2013 — According to the trend, a first-time winner should stand atop the podium when the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series visits Perris Auto Speedway.

After Mark Kinser claimed the first five races at the half mile, seven of the last eight events – and the last five consecutive – have featured a different winner heading into the SoCal Showdown on Saturday, April 13.

One of those drivers is Kerry Madsen, who picked up a victory in 2007 and finished fifth during last season’s return to Perris Auto Speedway after a five-year hiatus.

Outlaws’ Tour of California Continues for Tony Stewart Racing Teammates

INDIANAPOLIS (April 3, 2013) – The traveling odyssey from dirt track to dirt track continues this weekend for the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series as the spring California tour marches on. For the fourth consecutive weekend, Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz and Steve Kinser will chase victory in the Golden State racing Friday at Antioch (Calif.) Speedway and Saturday at Calistoga (Calif.) Speedway. Five different drivers have won the first five races of the California tour and both Schatz and Kinser are vying to join the list.

Bloomington, Ind.—April 3, 2013— Last weekend, Kraig Kinser visited a track he had been to before, but this time it had been reconfigured a little bit. This weekend, that same situation will present itself as the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series West Coast swing continues at a track that is relatively new to the series, Antioch Speedway, and one that has been around since the early days of the Outlaws, Calistoga Speedway, which recently received a major makeover.
