Fast-Rising Teenage Star Sweeps Program In Front Of Home-State Fans

BELLEVILLE, IL – Sept. 14, 2012 – Brandon Sheppard earned his first-ever World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main victory with a picture-perfect performance on Friday night at Belle-Clair Speedway.

Racing in front of his home-state fans, the fast-rising 19-year-old star from New Berlin, Ill., emerged triumphant in the ‘Photobilly 50’ to complete a sweep of the national tour’s inaugural program at the one-fifth-mile fairgrounds bullring.

SPENCER, Iowa — Sept. 14, 2012 — Donny Schatz capitalized on thick traffic to pass polesitter Lucas Wolfe with a lap and a half remaining to claim the 6th annual Arnold Motor Supply Shootout at Clay County Fair Speedway.

Schatz extended his championship points lead to 101, which is the largest advantage any leader has had this season.

Hometown: Elk River, Minn.

Team: Craig Dollansky Racing #7

Title: Tire specialist

Background: Lucas grew up watching his father, Craig, race and spent summers traveling from track to track with his family. Once he graduated high school, Lucas went on the road as a full-time crewman. He began as a cleaner and has been in charge of tires the past two seasons.
