MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – Aug. 31, 2012 – Jared Hawkins can’t believe that he’s about to defend his stunning victory in last year’s big-money finale of the Black Diamond 125 at Tyler County Speedway.

Ready or not, on Saturday night (Sept. 1) the 26-year-old talent from Fairmont, W.Va., returns to the scene of his greatest triumph to chase a chunk of the $150,000-plus purse promoter Frank Wilson has posted for the unique, multi-feature World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at the quarter-mile ‘Bullring.’

ALGER, Wash. — Aug. 31, 2012 — Kerry Madsen survived contact with leader Donny Schatz on a restart of lap 10 en route to his fourth victory of the season at Skagit Speedway.

Sammy Swindell ended with a runner-up finish with championship standings leader Craig Dollansky finishing third in a night of attrition. Five cars ended outside the top 10 after incidents while competing in the top five. (CLICK FOR FULL RACE REPORT)

Tony Stewart Racing Teams Begin Stretch Run Toward WoO Championship

INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 31, 2012) – The numbers are all still in play in the 2012 World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series championship fight. In just 64 days a champion will be crowned, and it’s looking like a two-team race with each having a pair of viable candidates.
