A beautiful day of weather on Friday in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania presented Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they returned to Williams Grove Speedway for another crack at the National Open due to the event being rained out the previous Saturday. After posting the fifth fastest time overall in hotlaps amongst the 53 cars signed in for competition, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ kept the strong start to the night going by piloting the Karavan Trailers Maxim to the 4th fastest time in qualifying at 16.371 seconds. Starting from outside row two in the fourth heat, Dollansky raced past Tim Shaffer and finished 3rd, one shy of a spot in the dash but still a transfer into the main event. With non-dash cars lined up according to their qualifying efforts the Aggressive Hydraulics #7 was mired all the way back in row seven for the 40-lap, $50,000-to-win, A-Main.
