RACE REPORT: Kinser Wins at New Egypt

Steve Kinser has won at a lot of tracks from coast-to-coast as well as Australia during his career, but one track he had never visited victory lane at was New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey. That all changed on Sunday night as he inched out Jason Sides to earn his fourth A-Feature victory of the season and first at D-shaped half-mile. The victory was the 537th of his career.

RACE REPORT: Lasoski Edges Schatz at Grandview

Danny Lasoski felt like he let a win slip away last Friday in the World of Outlaws event at Williams Grove Speedway, when Donny Schatz got around him in traffic, and he was bound and determined to not let that happen again on Wednesday night at Grandview Speedway in Pennsylvania as the pair found themselves racing again for the win in traffic.

RACE REPORT: Schatz Wins Eckerd Outlaw Showdown

Donny Schatz won a preliminary feature at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in 2000, the first year the World of Outlaws raced at the state-of-the-art facility. He been trying every since to return to the winner’s circle at the 0.4-mile track and did exactly that on Friday night, as he took the lead from Paul McMahan with just four laps remaining to earn the $10,000 top prize.

RACE REPORT: Meyers Slides to Win at Eldora

There was plenty of uncertainty on Friday as the World of Outlaws took to Eldora Speedway for the first event since the half-mile was resurfaced and reshaped. Chilly conditions greeted the drivers, leading to uncertainty when looking for that perfect set-up. One thing that was certain though, was that Jason Meyers was the fastest car at the track.

RACE REPORT: Saldana Wins in Australia

Concord, NC — Joey Saldana has always enjoyed racing at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway (PCR) in Australia. He is one of only two drivers to have claimed a victory in the $50,000 Classic that has been contested seven times. His win in the prestigious event came in 2003, and last weekend he came up just inches short of winning it for the second time.
